I just went to school to buy books! But of course, that wasn't the main reason I went to school, duh [: I usually procrastinate till the last few days of the hols before I go buy my books. Emily had gb & I passed her FULL HOUSE! And she passed me my umbrella, hahah. I love Rain! ZOMG, while watching goong yesterday, there was this ad about Rain's concert! (: I wanna go, but the tix are like $188/$288/$388/$488 >:( Anyway, I agree with Emily that this is just a passing phase, so no point wasting money like that.
Went to Supreme Court/High Court (I never understood the difference) yesterday [: The inside is beeeeeee-yoo-ti-ful! It's like, the inside of Esplanade or something. Took lunch with uncle kok yeow and mummy at the cafe there. Food was yummy and not overpriced :D Uncle kok yeow taught me some lawyer stuff & we went into an open court to listen. He also brought me to the court of appeal, which is the HIGHEST HIGHEST COURT in Singapore. Meaning that if you lose a case there, you have no more hope! :D At the top level of the supreme court, there's this sightseeing area. It's super cool! Although it's only 8 or 9 storeys high, the view is fantastic [: You can see the esplanade & S'pore river & everything!
Oh, and I forgot to mention, I spotted this hot guy in a black suit while walking around :D He looks a little like Prince William! HAHAHA.
After that, I cabbed home & took a bus to my theory teacher's house for my first theory lesson. The teacher is just fine, definitely not worth how much we're paying her! I was bored during the lesson and just kept nodding at whatever she said. I think she realized that the only time I smiled was when I said BYEBYE at the end of the lesson :D But the good thing is that she gives very little homework. My next theory exam is in Oct/Nov 2007 and I mustmustmust pass. So I shall start working hard eh? GO ME!
Lunched at Subway before cabbing home. I feel so bad for cabbing so much these few days :/ But I'll probably die if I have to carry all my books home righttt?
